Valentine's Day Cake by Saveen Kaur

Hey lovelies so here comes a super yummy & healthy decadent Cake recipe to make for your Valentine ❤️😍

It's healthy, its so yummy, trust me you will not stop drooling over it 🤤

I have made this Cake made with Wheat Flour, Jaggery, Assorted Seeds, Cranberries, Chocolates & garnished With Dark Chocolate, Fresh Strawberries and more Chocolate 🍫😍🍓😋🎂


To Make Dark Chocolate Chocolate Ganache - 


You need to add Cream in the ratio of 1:1. 


That means 1 cup chopped Chocolate and 1 cup Cream. 


Method - 


In a double boiler, add chopped chocolate, let it melt a bit and then add cream and fold in the two together to make a beautiful rich ganache on low temperature. 


Remove it from the flame, pour it in a clean container and let it set overnight in a cool dark place. 


Keep it in the freezer when set and then remove it and bring it to room temperature and then use it on your Cake! 



Ingredients to make the Cake -


1 cup Wheat Flour 

1/2 cup  Cocoa Powder 

1 cup Curd

3/4 th cup Powdered Jaggery Powder

1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1/2 cup Oil

1 tsp Vanilla Essence

2 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds 

2 tbsp Flax Seeds

2 tbsp Sunflower Seeds 

2 tbsp Cranberries

1 cup chopped Dark Chocolate

1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Shavings for garnishing

Strawberries for garnishing


Method -

In a bowl add curd and Jaggery powder  and mix in well.

Add Baking Powder & Baking Soda and wait for a minute.

Add Oil, Essence & mix in well.

Add Wheat Flour & Cocoa Powder via sieve, mix.

Add chopped Dark Chocolate & Assorted Seeds and mix.

Keep some assorted Seeds and chopped for garnishing 

Pour the batter in a heart shaped baking tin and garnish with Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate & Assorted Seeds like shown in the picture above! 

Bake at 180°C for 30 mins or till done! 

Kindly note you have to Pre heat the oven at 210 °C for 10 minutes. 

Let the cake cool down, decorate it with Chocolate & Fresh Strawberries like shown in the picture above. 

Keep it in the fridge till serving time!
